Date: Mon, 29 Jun 92 10:17:14 CET COUNTRY: USA / Kentucky TOWN: Lexington NAME: Chandramohan Saravanamuthu. ADDRESS: 400, Transylvania Park, Apt#34, Lexington, KY 40508 US of A. PHONE: 1-606-2558905, 1-606-2584514 EMAIL: CMSARA00@UKCC.BITNET cmsara00@ukpr.uky.edu cmsara00@mik.uky.edu SEX/AGE: Male/21 ACCOMMODATION: Currently staying in a 4-bedroom apartment but chances are,I will be moving into an efficiency (connected bedroom and living room) to reduce my living cost here in America. But, despite of this my guest(s) could expect reasonable comfort in bunking with me...and not to mention,a jolly good time too. LOCATION: Well, because I am a student, I live very close to the school. Quite a number of clubs and other recreational spots are located around the University of Kentucky campus. Lexington itself is not too far from much larger metropolitan cities. One city that deserves mention is Cincinnati, a mere 1 hour-drive away. MAX GUESTS: Any number of guests would be fine as long as they realize that comfortability would have to be compromised. MAX LENGTH: It depends entirely on my guest(s).If they stay for 2 weeks or less, they don't have to share the rent. But should they decide to stay longer than 2 weeks than the rent would have to be shared reasonably. EXPENSES: Basic necessities like food, some travelling expenses and other things depending entirely on our plans and circumstances. All this shouldn't exceed $20-$30 a day.( As I said earlier,if my guest(s) should stay longer than 2 weeks than it would kind of them to share the rent also). All in all, the cost will not exceed the shoe-string traveller's budget (trust me!!) LANGUAGES: Tamil (mother-tongue), English (obviously!!), Malaysian and Indonesian. I am very fluent in these 4 languages. I can also speak a tad-bit of French and understand Cantonese (a Chinese dialect) to some extent. EXPECTATIONS: Cleanliness is important and much appreciated. Other than this sole expectation, common sense would prevail in dealing with situations on a case by case basis. THE HOST: Well, don't worry...I'll resist the temptation to pen down my autobiography. For starters, I am a man of Indian origin born and raised in a small teeny-weeny little country called Malaysia. Now I am in America to join million others in the paper chase. I am doing my Bachelors in Biotechnology in the University of Kentucky. I lived a year in Boston, before coming here and I must say it's a great town. I have travelled extensively throughout Northeast America and a few places in the west and south. Being exposed to so many different cultures, languages and people, I really do have a good sense of geography. What else?...Ahh!!Yes...My hobbies. HOBBIES: Well, I like to travel a lot...you can say travelling is my passion. I love to sit down and discuss about other cultures, politics, religions and what not. I love to take a stroll in the woods. My musical interest ranges from Bach to ZZ-Top, although my most favourite form of music is Jazz. I also like to party once in while. (What else, huh? Hmmmm....). I can't seem to think of any now but of course you can always forward me your precious 'Freudian' questions if you want to get to know me better.
