EXPECTATIONS: I have a small studio apartment ideal for guests
or tourists who will spend most of the day away
on sightseeing excursions. My apartment is small
but clean and will not suit more than two or three
people at a time. Despite the cramped quarters,
I am clean and very friendly and polite.
I am especially interested in meeting guests from
               Germany, Northern/Eastern Europe and Japan.
I have a car and we can arrange to make local trips
together. I am partial to guests who are gay or do not
mind having a gay host as I am myself gay.
I would also like 2-3 weeks notice if you plan to
stop by. I get along great with students and young
adults (18-35) who enjoy cross-cultural experiences.
    LANGUAGES: English, German, Spanish
THE HOST: I am a friendly clean polite physically active
and healthy host. English is my mother tongue though
-- I have a very good command of German and Spanish.
I have visited Germany and Japan and would like to meet
people from Germany, Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech
Republic, Hungary, former USSR) and Japan.
On the personal side, I am an openly gay male and would
like all my guests to feel comfortable no matter what
their sexual orientation is. I am also a U.S. citizen
of Pacific Island ancestry (My parents come from
the island of Guam.) I am a University of California
graduate and work currently for a wor kstation company
in the Silicon Valley. I try to indulge as much as is
practical my guests' taste for sightseeing. I like
activities like bicycling, rowing, camping, visiting
museums. Though I a m not an avid cook, my kitchen
is open to guests willing to try their luck at cooking.
I look forward to meeting you!
