     THE HOST: I am a 32 year old woman. Single. I work
               as a systems analyst/computer programmer
               at Duke University Medical Center.
               My interests are broad - I play drums (West African ,
               Afro- Cuban and Middle Eastern).
               I dance (and teach dance) - in the African
               and Middle Eastern styles. I am an herbalist. I enjoy
               art and crafts (such as painting, batik, paper-making).
               I live in a large, beautiful house with 3 other very
               interesting women.
               I plan on travelling for the next year in order
               to study the use of
               healing herbs, art and dance/music in other cultures.
        OTHER: While travelling, I am interested in
               working. Doing odd jobs, teaching dance,
               music or English. Not just to make money
               (perhaps in exchange for room and board)
               but it would be a wonderful way to really get to know
               people, the language and the culture.
