    LANGUAGES: Fluency in French; minimal German;
               minimal Spanish; working on Japanese.
 RESTRICTIONS: No smoking inside my apartment; no heavy drinking.
               One or two females or one female and one male --i.e.,
               no 'unaccompanied' males. (Hey, sorry to sound sexist
               or inhospitable, but it's a scary world out there!)
     THE HOST: I'm 38, single. Born and raised in Louisiana.
               Languages and travel are my passions. Also like dancing,
               bicycling, jogging. Am a faculty member at Trinity
               University -  serials cataloger in the library.
               Love to meet folks from other cultures/countries.
        OTHER: Public transportation is pretty good in San Antonio,
               so guests can get around without a car. If your visit
               corresponds with my days off from work, and if I have
               the time, I'll be glad to show you around a bit.
               (San Antonio is a great town, and a good jumping-off
               place for Mexico.
               People are friendly, food and entertainment are
               (relatively) cheap. Summer weather is hellishly hot,
               but October through May are great.)
