THE HOST: I have lived most of my life in the Salt Lake
City, Utah area. I do enjoy a glass of wine
from time to time, drink coffee...don't smoke.
My wife does not like coffee but drinks tea.
I work day shift (06h30-16h00) my wife works
the night shift (23h00-07h30). We have season
hockey tickets for the Salt Lake Golden Eagles
(a team in the International Hockey League). I
picked up a few words in Norwegian when some
people stayed at our house for a dance
festival a few years ago. A couple of years
later, some people from France stayed at our
house for another dance festival. I have been
making an attempt to learn a little bit of
French. Somedays I feel like I have
succeded, and other days I don't feel that way
at all. Spanish is a first or second
languague to a large part of Salt Lake City,
but I have never managed to learn Spanish.
Oh, you may want a swimming suit as we have a
hot tub. I work for the U.S. Air Force as a
civilian, and my wife is a computer operator
for the State of Utah. Sometimes I take
classes after work. Also, I enjoy attending
movies, theatre (in English, French, ...I have
even been to plays in Spanish and Navajo, but
not in Salt Lake), and I have been talked into
being in a play from time to time.
